Social Security Administration (SSA) Apostille

Are you planning to retire in another country?  You maybe asked to have your Social Security Administration (SSA) Benefits and Income Verification Letter Apostilled.  If the country you plan to retire in is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille will be affixed to your documents.

The Benefits and Income Verification letter is issued by the Social Security Administration.  We can Apostille any Social Security letter from our office in Washington, DC.  If you don’t have your benefits letter, you can request one form the local Social Security Office.  You can also visit the official Social Security website for more information: http://www.ssa.gov/

The Secretary of the District of Colombia in Washington will authenticate your letter and attach an Apostille.  We’ve outlined three simple steps below.

Step 1: Obtain your Income and Verification letter from the Social Security Administration.  If you are outside the country, you can visit the Social Security Administration website for more information: http://www.ssa.gov/ .  The Social Security website allows you to access your benefits letter online.  You can print this letter and mail it to our office.

Step 2: Mail your letter to our office in Washington, DC for fast 1-2 day processing. Be sure to include our Washington DC Apostille Order Form.  If you plan to pay with a credit card, be sure to include our credit card authorization form.

That’s it!

Once we receive your documents, our staff will hand deliver to the Secretary of the District of Columbia the next business morning.  These documents are typically authenticated the same-day.  Once complete, we’ll drop off your documents at the local shipping facility for next day delivery.  We can also ship your documents anywhere in the world.  International shipping rates apply.
