Do you need an apostille on a Certificate to Foreign Government?

Firms exporting products from the United States are often asked by foreign customers or foreign governments to supply a certification relating to products subject to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

A Certificate to Foreign Government is an export certificate issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  This document assures other countries that the products exported to their countries are in compliance with U.S. law or meet specific U.S. regulations, such as Quality System Regulations (QSR) (also known as Good Manufacturing Practice requirements).

Document issued by the Department of Health and Human Services FDA division can be apostilled through our Washington, D.C. office.  Documents received at our office is submitted to the U.S. Department of State the following business morning.  The current processing time is four business days.  We also provide FedEx return shipping at no additional cost.
