The Social Security Benefits and Income Statement is a U.S. Federal Government document and cannot be notarized or processed through any State.  This document can only be apostilled through our Washington, D.C. office.

Ecuador Embassy Social Security Apostille

If you are planning to retire in the country of Ecuador, you will be asked to apostille and legalize your Social Security Administration Income and Benefits letter through the U.S. Federal Government.  The country of Ecuador will also require your authenticated documents to be legalized through the Ecuador Embassy in Washington D.C.

Here are the steps you need to take to order your Social Security Administration (SSA) Income and Benefits letter:

Step 1: Visit the Social Security Administration website here: http://www.ssa.gov/

Step 2: Download the Income and Benefits letter.  If you are in the United States, you can visit the local Social Security Administration office.

Step 3: Mail the Income and Benefits letter including our order form and credit card authorization form to our office for fast processing.

Step 1: Obtain your Income and Verification letter from the Social Security Administration.  If you are outside the country, you can visit the Social Security Administration website for more information: http://www.ssa.gov/ .  The Social Security website allows you to access your benefits letter online.  You can print this letter and mail it to our office.

Step 2: Mail your letter to our office in Washington, DC for fast 1-2 day processing. Be sure to include our Washington DC Apostille Order Form.  If you plan to pay with a credit card, be sure to include our credit card authorization form.
