Certifying and legalizing documents for Vietnam is a three step process.  Your documents will require State certification, US Department of State certification, and Vietnam Embassy legalization.  Please note that if your documents are written in Vietnamese, you must provide us an English translation.  The translation does not require notarization.   The US Department of State will not certify a document written in a foreign language unless an English translation is provided.

Vietnam Legalization

Apostille Diploma

transcripts for countries who are not members of the Hague apostille Convention.

The most common countries we certify and legalize diplomas are for: Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates UAE, and Egypt.

The very first step is to contact your school’s Registrar for assistance.  You will need to explain to the Registrar that you need to authenticate your diploma so the other country will accept it. If the school does not have a notary on staff, you can request a traveling notary to meet with the school’s registrar.  The school’s Registrar will either notarize the original diploma or a color copy.

Every school will have their own procedure on how the diploma can be notarized.  Some school’s will request that you mail in your original diploma so they can notarize it while another school will notarize a color copy.  Please contact your school for know more about their procedure, cost, and turn-around time.  If you are having difficulty and the school’s Registrar is not understanding your request, you can ask the school’s registrar to call our office.

Once we receive your diploma, we’ll process it from the State the diploma has been notarized in.  Please note that notarized documents from the State’s of New York, Maryland, Hawaii, Kentucky, and Tennessee require County Clerk authentication before the State will attach the certification.

If you are requesting your diploma for a country who is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, your diploma will require two to three steps to complete.

ISO 9001 Apostille

An ISO certificate is an official certification for products and services which are manufactured in accordance to the International Organization of Standardization rules.  ISO certificates are issued through authorized agencies that audit corporations to assure their conformity with the international standards.  The ISO seal stands for quality, confidence, trust, and safety.

The ISO Certification assists corporations to export their products around the world.  We can apostille ISO certificates for use in countries who are members of the Hague Apostille Convention and for countries who are not members.  The first step is to contact our office for verification.  If the authorized agency who issued your ISO certification is in the United States, you can request a notarized copy.  If the ISO certificate was issued from a authorized agent outside the USA, please contact us so we can provide you the step-by-step instructions.

Taiwan Legalization

At International Apostille Services, Inc., we take the guesswork out of certifying and legalizing your documents for Taiwan.  Because Taiwan is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, your documents will require State certification, US Department of State certification, and Taiwan Embassy legalization.  This three step process is commonly referred as the certification and US legalization process.

The Embassy of Taiwan will also request for you to complete a power of attorney authorizing us to represent you at the Embassy.  We will also ask that you complete the Taiwan  Application form for Authentication.  We can provide you an example of these two forms upon request.

Taiwan Legalization

Depending on the type of documents you have, the average processing time is two to three weeks.  Currently the Taiwan Embassy is charging a document fee of $15 and the estimated processing time at the Embassy is four business days.

FBI Channeler Apostille

FBI Background Check ApostilleDo you need an apostille on your FBI Background Check?

At International Apostille Services, Inc, we take the guesswork out of getting an FBI apostille on your background check.  Our customer service representatives are available Monday-Saturday from 8am to 7pm to answer your questions and to provide you easy to follow step-by-step instructions.

The very first step is to contact an FBI Approved Channeler.  An FBI channeler can expedite the processing of your background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  The FBI channeler will provide you detailed instructions including sending you a fingerprint card.  You can ask the local police department to help you with your fingerprint card.  Some FBI channelers call also direct you to a  LiveScan service location near you. Once you receive your background check, you can then mail in this document to our Washington DC office for processing.

If you are outside of the USA or are in a time-crunch and need your documents authenticated quickly, we recommend that you ask the FBI channeler to email you your FBI background check results in a PDF format.  Once you receive the PDF copy of your background check, you can then email this document with our order form and credit card authorization form to our office.  Our email address is: SUPPORT@WASHINGTONDCAPOSTILLE.COM

Once we receive your FBI background check, we’ll submit your document to the US Department of State for processing the following business morning.  The current processing time is four business days and we do provide FedEx 1-2 day return shipping at no additional cost.

Certificate of Naturalization Apostille

Certificate of Naturalization ApostilleDo you need an apostille on a Certificate of Naturalization?

A Certificate of Naturalization is a U.S. Federal Government document issued by Homeland Security (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) and can only be apostilled through our office in Washington, D.C.  The processing time is four business days and we do provide FedEx 1-2 day return shipping at no additional cost.

A Certificate of Naturalization can only be apostilled through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.  This document cannot be notarized, copy certified, and no State office can process this document.  All U.S. Federal documents are either processed through the Secretary of D.C. or the U.S. Department of State.  A Certificate of Naturalization can only be processed through the U.S. Department of State.

Documents destined for countries who are members of the Hague Apostille Convention will receive an apostille.  For countries who are not members, the U.S. Department of State will attach a certificate.  For example, Spain, Italy, and Mexico are members of the Hague Apostille Convention.  Countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bolivia, and Canada are not.  You can see a list of these countries by clicking this link: https://www.washingtondcapostille.com/hague-apostille-member-countries/

If you do not have your Certificate of Naturalization, please visit the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, here: http://www.uscis.gov/  .  You can also request the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (UCIS) to certify a copy of your document if you choose not to mail in the original.  How Do I Obtain Certified True Copies of a Certificate of Naturalization?

Step 1: Mail-in your original Certificate of Naturalization document or a certified true copy by UCIS to our Washington D.C. office for processing.  Be sure to download our Washington, D.C. order form and credit card authorization form and include these two documents with your order.

Step 2: We will verify and process your document through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC in four business days. Please keep in mind that the U.S. Department of State is closed on weekends, major holidays, and when there is adverse weather conditions.

Step 3: Once complete, your document will be picked-up from the U.S. Department of State’s office and dropped off at the local FedEx shipping center.  Your documents will arrive within 1-2 business days (Excluding: Saturday, Sunday, Major Holidays, & International Shipping).  If you require international shipping, please be sure to print the address on the order form.  Additional international shipping rates apply.
